
Cancellation & Refund Policy
At Owen Mitten Private Limited, we strive to deliver seamless corporate and group travel experiences. We understand that plans may change, and we aim to support you with a transparent and fair cancellation and refund policy.

1. General Terms
• All cancellations must be made in writing via email to your designated travel advisor or to contact@owenmitten.com.
• Refunds, where applicable, will be processed and credited within 7–14 working days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
• Refunds are subject to the terms and conditions of third-party service providers (hotels, airlines, ground transport, etc.).

This cancellation policy outlines about how you can cancel or seek a refund for a product / service that you have purchased through the Platform. Under this policy:

Cancellations will only be considered if the request is made within 7 days of placing the order. However, cancellation request may not be entertained if the orders have been communicated to such sellers / merchant(s) listed on the Platform and they have completed ticketing or package advance booking, or the product is out for delivery. In such an even, you may choose to reject the product at the doorstep.

Owen Mitten does not accept cancellation requests for Flight tickets. However, the refund / replacement can be made if the airline service provider has given such terms on the ticket terms and conditions.

In case of package wrongly chosen and payment made against mistaken location, please report to our customer service team. The request would be entertained once our team has checked and determined the same at its own end. This should be reported within 7 days days of booking the package. In case you feel that the package is not as shown on the site or as per your expectations, you must bring it to the notice of our customer service within 7 days of receiving the package details. The customer service team after looking into your complaint will take an appropriate decision.

In case of complaints regarding the services that come with a warranty from the service providers, please refer the issue to them.

In case of any refunds approved by Owen Mitten, it will take 7 to 14 working days for the refund to he processed to you.

2. Cancellation Charges
Cancellation charges will be applied based on the time of cancellation relative to the departure/start date of the package:
Cancellation Period : 30+ days before travel date
Cancellation Fee : 10% of total package cost

Cancellation Period : 15–29 days before travel date
Cancellation Fee : 25% of total package cost
​
Cancellation Period : 7–14 days before travel date
Cancellation Fee : 50% of total package cost
​
Cancellation Period : Less than 7 days before travel
Cancellation Fee : 100% of total package cost (No refund)

Note: Some bookings (e.g. peak season trips) may have stricter non-refundable policies regardless of the timeline. ​
3. Non-Refundable Costs
The following costs are typically non-refundable:
• Visa fees (if applicable)
​• Non - Refundable Flight Costs (Depends upon the Travelboutiqueonline or makemytrip Our Flight Ticketing Partner guidelines)
• Insurance premiums
• Processing or convenience fees
• Services already utilised or partially used
• Special activities/events with strict cancellation policies

4. Force Majeure / Travel Restrictions
In cases of natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, political unrest, or government-imposed travel bans:
• We will assist in rebooking or rescheduling where possible.
• Refunds, if any, will be subject to vendor policies and may be provided as travel credits/vouchers.

5. Group/Corporate Booking Terms

• For group bookings (10+ travelers), a separate contract may govern the refund terms.
• Any reduction in group size after confirmation will be treated as a partial cancellation and charged accordingly.

6. Refund Mode
Refunds will be issued via the original mode of payment or to the designated account of the corporate client. Cash refunds are not provided.

7. Changes & Amendments
​
• Any change in travel dates, names, or itinerary after booking confirmation may incur a service fee.
• All amendments are subject to availability and third-party vendor approval.
